Download the Call for Demos and Work-In-Progress Abstracts
The organizing committee invites submission of extended abstracts for peer review that detail technical demonstrations that have the potential for substantive impact on the field of Wireless Health. Technical demonstrations will highlight the many innovative solutions in Wireless Health that represent both advances in fundamental components and complete systems serving individuals and communities.
Demonstrations will highlight the many innovative solutions in Wireless Health that represent both advances in fundamental components and complete systems serving individuals and communities. Demonstrations will include two types:
- Research Demonstrations: Primarily academic, government, and industrial research advances and prototype systems enabling futureWireless Health products and systems.
- Products and System Demonstrations: Primarily new commercial products and systems developed by the Wireless Health industry and government agencies.
Work‐in‐progress abstracts will focus on innovative projects that are in development and have not yet resulted in demonstrable prototypes or are more theoretical in nature. Demo and work‐in‐progress submissions will be evaluated based on a 2 page extended abstract in the ACM conference format posted on the conference website. For demo submissions, a video file showing the demonstration may also be included, but is not required for selection. The abstract and video files can be zipped into one package, or videos can also be made available at a public URL for download with the URL address cited in the abstract.
Accepted abstracts will be included in the Conference Proceedings published in the ACM Digital Library, unless authors indicate they would like to withhold their abstracts due to intellectual property or pre‐publication concerns. In addition to dedicated space at the conference to present their demonstrations and/or posters, authors of accepted abstracts will also be given a 5 minute oral presentation slot at the conference to further expose their work to conference attendees.
